Carver Old Home Day, the last Saturday of July, a tradition since 1901!!
Carver Old Home Day has been a tradition since 1901 providing a day for the community to come together and celebrate the history of our town. The mission of the Carver Old Home Day Association is to continue to provide a relaxing day for families to come out and meet their neighbors and enjoy their families. The Carver Old Home Day Association, Inc. is a non-profit that looks to the town for sponsorship to be able to continue to provide a day full of activities and fun at minimal cost to allow fun for the whole family. We are also proud to share that beginning in 2013 we were able to award our first scholarship to a Carver High School graduate. Thank you to our community and local businesses!
Our day is filled with music from the ages in the morning with a full Brass band playing Bandstand Boogies to Stars and Stripes forever! We follow this with some more modern local talent and familiar sounds you may want to dance to!
You will find us under the pines at Shurtleff Park in Carver, Massachusetts.
The Fred Weston Memorial Fun Run (children 10 and under) takes off at 7:30 am from the Arch at the Main Street entrance to Shurtleff Park. Be sure to register here or at 7:00am at the bandstand in Shurtleff Park!
The Bicycle/ Doll Carriage Parade kicks off at 10:00 am. To participate please register on the green at the corner of West S. and Main St. at 9:30 am on July 27th.
The children are encouraged to decorate their bikes or carriages with their favorite themes or characters as they parade through the park to the band stand.
Prizes are awarded for each age group.
The 5-Miler Road Race kicks off at 8:00 am from Shurtleff Park and loops through the back roads and bogs to circle back to the park.

The show ends with Trophies for the favorite cars!
